Overview:$17.36 / hourUnder general direction, selects, negotiates and procures products and services from approved vendors in response to operational requirements established by various departments and locations throughout the organization. Responsible for general office management for the department, including answering and dispatching calls, completing and filing daily, weekly, and monthly reports, and the creating and maintaining associate files.Responsibilities:
Work with associates, contractors, vendors and guest in a positive, productive and professional manner.
Interface with requesting department and vendors regarding delivery, quality or quantity discrepancies service and repair requirements.
Daily contact with accounting personnel in reference in invoice billings to ensure accuracy of merchandise received.
Daily contact with Inventory Control in reference to purchase orders and product received.
Daily contact with Warehouse personnel in reference to purchase orders and incoming product to ensure accuracy of merchandise received.
Daily contact with vendors to obtain a missing invoice or to discuss a price discrepancy to resolution.
Maintain the vendor address book along with creation, maintenance and updating.
Periodically will be assigned special projects and assignments.
Qualifications:This position requires the following education and experience, or an equivalent combination of both:EducationHigh School Diploma or GED. College degree preferred but not required.Experience5 years or more of administrative office experienceMinimum AgeAt Least 18 Years of Age
Computer literate in Excel and Word.
Basic accounting principles are required to reconcile invoices to purchase orders.
Must possess good communication skills via phone or in person.
Must be able to work in a fast pace environment that requires multitasking and balancing of job duties.
Must have good organizational and time management skills.
