Senior HR Business Partner

The Senior HR Business Partner drives strategic partnerships to develop the talent agenda to meet business objectives. Reporting to the Head of HR, North America, this role will work closely with SquareTrade leadership to develop and execute people strategies to attract, retain and engage top talent within the organization. This is a hybrid position with a 1 day per week in-office expectation. Responsibilities:Build strong partnerships with leaders to develop and execute people strategiesUse data-driven insights to develop and execute on people strategiesAdvise, guide and coach leaders at all levels to effectively navigate the complexities of managing teams, managing career development, developing a high-performance culture, providing conflict resolution strategies, etc.Drive people initiatives from a place of inclusivity and provide counsel on the company’s IDE strategy and effortsBe an influential culture champion and collaborate on company-wide initiatives that help us strengthen our dispersed workplaceProvide proactive and candid feedback on performance management, diversity and inclusion, skill development, talent moves, gaps, promotions and growth opportunitiesWork with managers and leaders to resolve escalated employee relations issuesSupport change management efforts for complex organizational changesCollaborate with other global HR functions (Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, IDE, etc) in the design and implementation of people programsPropose employee retention strategies to minimize unwanted turnover, particularly within critical rolesBe highly visible within the teams in support of building a trusting, transparent and constructive work environment
