Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller a client in the health and wellness space, located in Beverly Hills, California. The Controller will have key responsibilities in managing the accounting team, overseeing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and contributing to policy development. This is hybrid (3 days in/2 days WFH) role. Responsibilities: Supervise and guide the accounting team in daily operations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP accounting policies and regulatory requirements Oversee the accurate and timely processing of general ledger activity including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and sales Handle the company's cash flow management, including forecasting to ensure necessary liquidity Analyze accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and prepare supporting reconciliation schedules as part of month-end close Prepare monthly closing reports and financial statements, including variance analysis Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts Develop ad hoc financial analysis and perform other duties as requested Contribute to the development and support of policies, procedures, and maintaining internal controls Prepare supporting documents for ad hoc/annual external audits Oversee the preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings.Requirements Proven experience in a franchise business model Proficiency in managing Accounting Functions including but not limited to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Knowledge of Budget Processes and ability to oversee budget planning and management for the organization. Proficiency in using Dynamics Ax and Dynamics software for managing financial data. Familiarity with Full Cycle Accounting and ability to manage all aspects of financial transactions from start to finish. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and make strategic decisions. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
