Description One of our clients in the Benicia area is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist.Contact Ade Henderson via LinkedIn for immediate considerationInvoicing:Generate and issue accurate and timely customer invoices.Verify billing accuracy, terms, and pricing.Collections:Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments.Implement and enforce effective credit control procedures.Communicate with customers to resolve outstanding issues and ensure timely payments.Cash Application:Apply cash receipts accurately and reconcile customer accounts.Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments.Customer Relations:Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.Address customer inquiries and provide timely and effective solutions.Reporting:Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status.Contribute to month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.Reconciliation:Reconcile customer statements and resolve any discrepancies.Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve issues affecting receivables.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in full-cycle accounts receivable
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
