We are an Energy Initiative supported by a number of TPO Banks, donors, C-10/C-46 Installers, and the state of California. We are currently in process of obtaining 501C3 Non-Profit Status. We offer a state supported program that assists families with their electricity costs without loan, liens, or buying solar. We are currently operating in Central and Southern California, specifically San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Kern, Fresno Counties
About the position:
Case Manager: This is a 1099 Contractor Position
Actively assist our program in coordinating applications, meeting with applicants to assess their eligibility, present program benefits and drawback as well as enroll eligible households into the program. Post enrollment – Assist families through the installation and timeframes mandated by state and local governments.
General Requirements:
Must be willing to travel within 50 miles or so
Must be willing to obtain HIS license
Must be willing to complete case manager and assessor training
Must be determined and have a strong sense of integrity.
Minimum high school diploma
Must have your own form of transportation
Position Daily performance and activity:
Upon onboarding, case manager will outline the specific territory/service area they can cover based on their home address.
You will be given a platform to notify you if and when you receive applicants in your territory
You will have onsite appointments whereby you interact with the household and obtain pictures and utility informmation
Upon completion of the onsite appointment you will submit the work sheet to the program administrator and upon internal review we will issue a report that you present to the household. Once you present the report the household members will be given a choice to proceed with enrollment or not. Upon successfully enrolling households the file transitions to the project management department.
The average case manager enrolls and manages approx 7-12 cases per month.
Upon installation, installation typically takes 4-6 weeks. Case managers are paid $1,200 - 1,800 depending on system size and other determining factors per installation.
This position is ideal for those who worked in sales, real estate, mortgage, we are not interested in those who actively and currently work in solar. Those who may have had previous solar experience may be considered.
