CNC Machine Supervisor$60k+ 2nd shift 3pm - 10pmBusy year round, position is open due to addition of a 2nd shift. Experience / Education RequirementsList the minimum education and/or experience (competencies) required to perform this job successfully; verification documents are required when degrees or certifications are required.Education: High School Diploma or equivalentExperience:5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility.Skills:Supervisory and communication skills, proficient with programming and operating CNC machinery, and shop mathematical theory and inspection procedures.Duties and ResponsibilitiesList the duties and responsibilities required of this job position; include applicable leadership responsibilities.PURPOSE OR FUNCTION OF THE JOB:The CNC Machine Supervisor oversees machine operators performing CNC machine work. Works without direct supervision following established processes and procedures. This position requires exercising independent judgement.DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensures employees are trained and operating to meet work order specifications and deadlines.Fills in as operator as needed, ensures employee coverage on machines.Supervises and assists employees programing and operating CNC machines.Troubleshoots machines, programs and process issues.Ensures machine and inspection procedures and guidelines are followed.Suggests process improvements for equipment and procedures.Communicates work progress to management.Understands and follows all safety procedures.Reports to supervisor immediately of potential hazards or risks.Other duties as assigned.
