Busy transmission shop looking for skilled mechanic to start A.S.A.P The available position is for an experienced automotive technician with 5 or more years of experience in a professional environment. We are a fast paced high volume auto repair shop who needs a candidate who is comfortable preforming repairs and diagnosis with minimal assistance across all platforms of vehicle types and systems. Candidate will be required to have their own set of tools. Specialty tools needed will be provided by shop. We are located in Tehachapi, California and are looking for a responsible technician who can be here Mon-Friday 8am (7:50) to 5pm consistently with little issue. The shop is closed Sat &Sun. Knowledge in transmission rebuilding is not required for this position, however knowledge of the removal and installations of F.W.D., R.W.D., and A.W.D., transmissions is a must. General auto repair knowledge is also a must as we preform all repairs on types of vehicles. Must be a fairly quick and effective worker with a good attention to detail and not easily distracted from the tasks at hand.
