Description A highly motivated self-starter will be excited to hear about the excellent career opportunity being offered by Robert Half for a General Office Clerk. As the General Office Clerk, you will work for a company in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Mgt field, performing various administrative support tasks, including operating office equipment and completing general clerical work.Your responsibilities
Interface with customers in a friendly manner and provide service quickly and accurately
Supporting front desk and receptionist duties
Receiving and placing telephone calls
As required, offer support on diverse employee projects
Offer a smile to incoming customers
All tasks related to: word processing, data entry, filing, scanning, faxing, and copying
Carry out correspondence according to prescribed style and format Requirements - Trained to handle office equipment
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
Command of Microsoft Excel
Foundational knowledge in MS Outlook
Microsoft Word experience
navigating basic office equipment and protocols experience
Applicants must apply with a high school diploma or its equivalent
Strong organization skills
Ability to multitask effectively
1 year of Office Clerk experience recommended
Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
