Description We are offering an opportunity for a Receptionist in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry located in Azusa, California. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company, handling the flow of people through the business and ensuring that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality. Your duties will include offering administrative support across the organization, coordinating front-desk activities, and managing multi-line phone calls.Responsibilities: Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the office Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk Order front office supplies and keep an inventory of stock Update calendars and schedule meetings Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing Coordinate mail flow in and out of the office Keep updated records of office expenses and costs Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Receptionist or in a similar role. Proficient in answering and managing a multi-line phone system. Exceptional customer service abilities, with a focus on providing a positive experience for all visitors and callers. Demonstrated experience in data entry, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Skilled in handling email correspondence, including responding to inquiries and routing messages as necessary. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word is required. Experience in organizing files, both physical and digital, in a way that ensures easy accessibility and retrieval. Ability to schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and manage multiple calendars effectively.
