Accounts Payable Manager

Description Robert Half is searching for an Accounts Payable Manager to start immediately for an assignment that offers great long-term potential. As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will match and batch code, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The assignment offers an opportunity to transition full-time. For immediate consideration email your resume to and call 626.463.2030 to schedule an interview.Team Leadership:· Supervise and lead the accounts payable team.· Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.Process Oversight:· Ensure efficient and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and related transactions.· Establish and enforce policies and procedures for accounts payable processes.Invoice Approval:· Review and approve high-value or critical invoices.· Work closely with other departments for necessary approvals.Payment Authorization:· Authorize payments within established approval limits.· Ensure compliance with payment terms and discount opportunities.Budget Management:· Collaborate with finance and budgeting teams to manage cash flow related to accounts payable.· Monitor and control expenses within budgetary constraints.Reporting:· Generate and analyze reports related to accounts payable.· Provide financial data and insights to senior management.Compliance and Audits:· Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.· Prepare for and support internal and external audits.Requirements AP Manager candidates with 5+ years of active management experience will be considered.
