Accounting Assistant

Description Robert Half is searching for entry-level Accounting Assistants for ongoing opportunities. The Accounting Assistants' duties will include: data entry, matching invoices to purchase orders or vouchers, and assisting with the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable. If this sounds like you, please send your resume AND call 626.463.2030 to schedule an interview.Bookkeeping:· Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.· Record daily transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable entries.Invoice Processing:· Process and verify invoices from vendors.· Ensure proper coding and documentation before submitting invoices for approval.Expense Reconciliation:· Reconcile credit card statements and receipts.· Verify and reconcile employee expense reports with receipts and company policies.Data Entry:· Enter financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets.· Maintain organized and well-documented records for easy retrieval.Assist with Financial Reporting:· Support the preparation of financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.· Provide necessary information and documentation for financial audits.Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, 6+ months of accounting experience, and excellent communication skills.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
