Assembler

Description: Perform basic start-up and shut down procedures for machine operations and loading materials in machining. Setup tooling, make basic machine adjustments as necessary. Check machined parts visually and dimensionally to meet production standards. Polish and apply finish to parts using an array of different equipment. Read and process basic blueprints details, calipers, gauges and dial indicators as necessary to perform tasks. Assembly of parts and assemble packaging of final products required for shipping. Recognize and report any machine malfunctions and part discrepancies to department leader. Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and adding oils and coolants as needed. Report any machine malfunctions immediately to the department manager. Keep the work area and equipment safe, clean and organized.
