Food Manufacturer seeking a Floor Production Lead with experience in Quality Assurance. Responsibilities
- Leading the entire Quality team on the productions floor
- Overseeing all quality floor inspectors - sensory, production, samplers, blenders, packaging
- Know how operations run
- Food safety
- Production line holds
- Understand AQL (acceptable quality level) proceess - where you have a hold, you can do sampling that will give you confidence if there is an issue
- Investigations / root cause analysis
- Sustains the work areas as safe, clean, organized in compliance with all SOPs, cGMP, and safety rules and regulations.
- Enforces and monitors compliance to cGMP, FSSC, HACCP based on SOPs.
- Issues QA Hold for nonconforming blend, Finished Good, raw material or packaging component.
- Reviews and releases blending batch records.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years working on a production floor Understands sanitation, swab machines, updating and issuing paperwork to the floor Prior Quality Assurance or manufacturing experience Ability to write simple correspondence Basic mathematical skills Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions Physical ability to repetitively reach, lift, stand, climb, bend, etc within a manufacturing environmentEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
