The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial aspects related to projects, utilizing their expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 software and demonstrating proficiency in various accounting tasks. Job Title: contract-to-permanent Project Accountant Industry: Manufacturing Work location: Anaheim, CA (100% onsite) Key Qualifications: Project Management Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in project management. Advanced Excel Skills: Proficiency in utilizing Excel functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs. Collaborative Work: Ability to work closely with project managers, ensuring effective communication and coordination. Financial Tasks: Experience in handling change orders, work in progress, accounts receivable, billing, and processing invoices. Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or ERP software preferred Month-End Close: Capable of contributing to the month-end close process. General Ledger Reconciliations: Skilled in reconciling general ledger accounts.
