Job Title: Packaging OperatorJob DescriptionAs a Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for operating the packaging machine, performing quality checks, and documenting production activities. This role involves working in varying temperatures from hot to warm and periodically lifting up to 50 lbs throughout the day. You will manage the entire production line assigned to you, with initial training and shadowing provided by a tenured machine operator. Training on pallet jacks and other machinery will be provided.Responsibilities
Operate the packaging machine efficiently and safely.
Perform quality checks on boxes and packaging materials.
Keep the designated work area clean and adhere to GMP standards.
Adjust packaging for different types and sizes of boxes.
Document productivity, completion, and orders accurately.
Essential Skills
At least one year of machine operating experience.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Basic troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with GMPs and HACCP standards.
Production experience to keep up with the fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in an industrial setting, preferably in manufacturing.
Experience with various machines such as case packers, wrapping machines, and sealing machines.
Quality assurance and documentation skills.

The work areas can reach up to 120 degrees during the hottest summer days, and the noise levels are louder than average due to machinery. Employees must wear steel-toe shoes above the ankle. The schedule includes rotating days off with at least two weekends per month, and employees must be open to working all days of the week. The facility operates 24/7, and employees may work 5-10 hours of overtime per week.
