Description A well-known established organization in the Education sector is seeking a motivated and dedicated Staff Accountant to join their team via Temp to Hire. Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, etc.).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
