Description This role handles essential tasks, such as financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external
Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required
Partake in various department-wide initiatives
Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. Requirements - Strong analytical skills, with the ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
Deep understanding of US GAAP
Knowledge of general ledger
Comprehensive knowledge of general ledger
Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued
Able to manage time well
Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Current and relevant ERP system experience
Great attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
