Overview

We are looking for a Data Visualization Analyst responsible for creating visual elements like charts, graphs and maps to help customers, business partners and stakeholders see and understand trends, outliers, and patterns in the data when using data visualization and data management tools.

In this role, you should be highly analytical with an understanding of how to present complex data relationships and information in concise, consumable, and aesthetically appealing visualizations. Having the ability for critical thinking, artistic flair, and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data and presenting it in meaningful ways for action.

Responsible for:

  • Creating appropriate visualizations for a variety of statistical models used in the evaluation and analysis of multi-sourced datasets and automate analytical processes.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and linked visualizations for data visualization.
  • Create data-driven infographics for marketing and educational resources.
  • Utilize cutting edge visualization technologies to reduce the complexity of multifaceted big datasets.
  • Make large amounts of information visually stimulating and meaningful for end-users.
  • Create dynamic web-map visualizations for interactive navigation of multivariate spatial and temporal datasets.

    • Requirements

    • Demonstrable skills creating aesthetically appealing visualizations from large and complex datasets.
    • Experience with D3.js, Leaflet.js, Deck.GL, and other javascript frameworks.
    • Ability to rapidly deploy interactive and static infographic data visualizations.
    • Deep understanding of javascript ES-6 syntax; reactJS a plus.
    • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
