The Windstream team provides innovative software and network solutions to connect people and empower business in a world of infinite possibilities!About the Role: This position is responsible for all Fiber Voice Installations across the ILEC footprint. In addition to Fiber Installs, this position will support Cutover activity, including prework and technician support during the scheduled cutover as it relates to voice protocol changes, network upgrades and TDM decommissions. This position will support all the voice testing within the ILEC footprint for new sites, card-adds, and other provisioning plans where voice will be required or installed. Future needs will be created with voice grooms and VOIP products.What You'll Do:
Switch Provisioning across multiple platforms (DMS100/500, DMS10/CS1500, GTD5, DCO, EWSD & Metaswitch)
Equipment provisioning across various vendor platforms and equipment types, including but not limited to Calix and Adtran ONT’s and Polycom ATA Devices
Building/configuring voice gateways
Troubleshooting voice network elements
Providing support to field technicians during customer installations
Providing support for cutover activity relating to voice services

This is a virtual/work from home position. Windstream requires employees working virtually to maintain a distraction-free workspace with sufficient highspeed internet of 25 MBPS or higher.
Minimum Requirements:
Associate Degree in a technical discipline and 2-3 years technical/telephony experience with 2+ years directly related to the job; or 5+ years of directly related telephony experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or directly related telephony experience required.
