Work Shift: 1ST SHIFT (United States of America)This position is responsible for performing various hatchery tasks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.Pulling/pushing loaded dollies of chick hatch baskets that weigh approx.500 lbs from hatching machines to separator room approx. 500' in distance.Working in extreme high temperatures, humidity's and chick down fluff.Monitoring machines while pulling to ensure machines are not overheating.Assisting hatcher cleaners in pulling equipment out of hatching machines for sanitation.Cleaning and performing other tasks involved in chick processing.Any other duties assigned by supervisor. Must be a hard worker and willing to learn new activities.Follow all safety guidelines and implement animal welfare practices. Ability to work with arms and hands above shoulders and below knees.Certified to use a walkie pallet jack for 4 to 6 hrs.Ability to use high pressure spray gun with 170 degree hot water.Steel toe work boots that protests toes and support ankles.Ability to work with egg/chick waste associated with processing offal.Must be willing to make it to work on time and have dependable transportation.
