Description Controller Opportunity in Springdale, AR - Finance and Accounting Leadership RoleWe are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for an experienced finance and accounting professional to step into the role of Controller in Springdale, AR. Reporting directly to the Location Manager and serving as a strategic business partner, the Controller will play a pivotal role in overseeing all functional accounting and control activities for the Springdale facility.Responsibilities:
Collaborate as a key member of the Springdale Lead Team, providing strategic financial guidance in the development and implementation of business strategy.
Drive positive change and contribute to business performance improvement initiatives.
Manage planning, reporting, consolidation, and analysis functions, ensuring compliance with ASAT, internal audit requirements, US GAAP, and company specific reporting standards.
Understand, review, and communicate key drivers for location success.
Foster financial engagement with operations, ensuring adherence to the financial plan.
Establish and monitor internal controls to support financial planning.
Ensure strict adherence to the company's code of conduct and corporate policy.
Lead the management of the location performance pay plan.
Initiate and lead projects to close performance gaps to benchmark levels.
Develop robust internal cost control systems to achieve planned objectives.
Ensure compliance with all audit requirements.
Implement systems to maximize profit generation across all business areas.
Cultivate an environment focused on problem-solving at the root cause.
Promote the use of systems for accurate planning and delivery according to expectations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
Undertake special projects and other duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Cost Accounting, Accounting Control, GAAP Accounting, Budgeting - Forecasting
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role.
Minimum 3 years of experience managing or supervising others in a direct reporting relationship.
Legal authorization to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited institution or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
5 years' experience in a manufacturing accounting role.
