If you’re looking for a growth opportunity, join us at XPO.As the Analyst, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), you will provide environmental compliance support for NPDES, CWA, UST/AST RCRA and EPCRS. You will develop, interpret and implement environmental compliance requirements within the Less-than-Truckload (LTL) organization, as well as perform technical analyses and modeling to determine present and future environmental compliance. Work with Environmental Compliance staff to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; support the implementation of corrective action plans to resolve problematic issues and provide guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future

Prepare presentations for training and awareness of compliance issues, and coordinate specialized training activities

Partner with Environmental Compliance, Operations and contractors to ensure compliance with federal, state and local air quality reporting and record keeping requirements

Support an effective compliance communication program, including promoting a compliance-based culture and understanding the impact of new and existing compliance issues

Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Safety and Security, Government Relations, Legal, HR and Operations) to resolve compliance issues

Provide reports on a regular basis and keep the Environmental Compliance management team informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts

Interpret and communicate complex regulatory requirements to both environmental and non-environmental management

Cultivate continuous improvement mentality of environmental compliance, cost reduction and lean thinking across the business unit

What you need to succeed at XPO:At a minimum, you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience

1 year of analysis experience

It’d be great if you also have:

Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Chemistry, Environment, Biology or Engineering

Experience with storm water management and writing SWPPP, SPCC and facility environmental compliance

Experience with Microsoft Access and SharePoint
