2nd Shift – 6% added to hourly wage

3rd Shift – 8 % added to hourly wage

What will you do?In this role, you will be involved in the machining or processing of metal parts by operating hydraulic Press Machines.Key Responsibilities:

Observes press operations and notifies Lead Person of any malfunctions.

Examines finished part for nicks, burrs, and cracks.

Weighs parts on scale and measures dimensions to ensure conformance to specifications.

Makes necessary adjustments to machine to ensure quality output

Document production information such as lot number, number of pieces, and date/time of production.

Measures completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, or calipers.

Examines completed work pieces for defects, such as chipped edges or marred surfaces, and sorts defective pieces

Starts machines, monitors machine operation and records operational data.

Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, dimensions, and tolerances.

Position guides, stops, holding blocks, or other fixtures to secure and direct workpieces, using hand tools and measuring devices.

Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM.

What are we looking for?We're looking for engaged individuals who are adaptable to a changing environment, take pleasure in learning, and enjoy working with others.Key Competencies:

Knowledge of all required measuring equipment which includes calipers, gauges

Proficient math skills

Ability to document machining procedures

Knowledge of metals, part-holding fixtures, and lathe/mill tooling

Experience in Okuma, Mazak, and Mori lathe machines preferred

Simple oral communication skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in English

Physically able to handle heavy items, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning components

Work scheduled hours and comply with the company's timekeeping policy and all other company policies

Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment

Consistently stand for an entire shift

Strong knowledge of machining practices and materials is a must, as is general mechanical knowledge

Willingness to be trained with a desire to learn

Ability to work in a team setting

Great work ethic, reliable, positive attitude
