We embrace a cleaner and leaner utility vision focused on eliminating energy waste and adding renewable energy from sources such as wind and solar.We are looking for:Solar Controls Technician under general supervision installs, operates and maintains all plant instrumentation and process control equipment, including distributed discrete and analog computer systems and their peripherals, controllers and process actuators. They Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment, inverters, combiner boxes, wiring, cables, Weather stations, etc.Knowledge/skills/and abilities:

Ability to read and understand complex electrical diagrams, electronic diagrams, logic diagrams and technical manuals

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Ability to use experience, analytical judgement, to plan and perform diversified work.

Programmable logic controller and electrical skills

Excellent communication skills to provide clear direction and feedback to all team members on the site and off site.

Agility to be able to work overtime, that may include weekends and holidays.

High School Diploma Required

4 years of experience in Electrical, PLC, and Solar Power

In this role, you will:

Performs calibrations and repairs on plant instruments, tracking system equipment and inverter controllers.

Maintains and programs plant Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) Maintains and repairs all instrument, electronic, and electrical equipment.

Maintains a safe work environment through job planning, housekeeping, adherence to plant safety rules, procedures and identification and correction of hazards.

Assists operations as needed. Reads and interprets plans, diagrams and specifications.

Performs preventative and routine maintenance to inverters, tracking systems and combiner boxes, including live, high voltage (1500 VDC) work. Performs routine monitoring and repairs to weather tracking equipment.

Maintains records of control and electrical system modifications (including temporary jumpers).
