Logistics Coordinator / 3rd ShiftRequisition ID: 40425Job Location(s):Mountain Home, AR, USJob DescriptionPerform Coordinator and/or Shipping & Receiving tasks and SCM support as applicable at our Mountain Home, Arkansas facility.Job Responsibilities

Maintain a safe work environment and use proper safety devices as provided. Contribute to our Zero Incident Safety Culture by abiding by and actively promoting all facility safety guidelines and quality procedures any addition to any department specific tasks.

Assess pack slips and determine which account to distribute to in order to expedite paperwork.

Complete transactions for all bills of lading which disburses inventory and sets off invoicing to the customer. Must be able to work hours required including overtime, weekends, potential alternate shifts.

Access customer websites to determine mode of transportation and to provide proper documentation for the shipment.

Maintain files to provide paperwork for inquiries on proof of deliveries or audits, which will approve or deny credit.

Analyze packing slips and bills of lading for customer service to justify customer’s price and delivery on invoices.

Provide ASN’s (Advance Shipment Notification) to customers.

Compute transportation costs for export and/or domestic shipments to invoice customers for the complete shipping cost.

Create waybills to get shipments through Customs quickly and accurately.

Schedule expedited shipments when required.

File freight claims with carriers for lost or damaged freight.

Work directly with Customer Support reps to answer the customer’s transportation questions.

Work directly with Carrier dispatch personnel to schedule freight pick-ups and resolve any shipment issues.

Perform daily shipment transactions for small packages/MRO items.

Assist with off-loading of bulk liquid tankers.

Schedule recycling activities; wire, pallets, plastic, etc.

Oversee daily billing of outbound shipments.

Keep work area clean and free of hazards – maintains 5S housekeeping standards

Background & Skills

High School Diploma or GED from an Accredited Institution.

Must be able to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.

Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance. Occasionally lift more than 50 lbs. with assistance.

Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.

Almost continuously standing/walking. Sometimes required to stoop, climb, or lift/carry equipment or material of moderate weight.

Physical Environment

Located in a non-climate controlled indoor area. Conditions may produce discomfort on occasion as dust, smoke, and moderate noise is persistent.

Regular need to give close attention, hearing, seeing, and/or touching, to surroundings.
