Other duties may be assigned
Performs planned electrical maintenance on all equipment and machinery for the thermoforming and extrusion process to ensure the integrity of electrical systems.
Diagnoses, troubleshoots and repair/maintain all equipment and machinery for the thermoforming process including trim presses, extruders, formers, and grinders.
Modifies new and existing equipment for performance improvements and upgrades.
Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Responsible for ensuring housekeeping in area(s) of responsibility are safe, clean and tidy.
Follows all Company established rules and policies
QualificationsEducation and/or Experience:
HS Diploma or equivalency; 3-5 years related experience; 2 Year Electrical Technology degree; Residential/Commercial License preferred.
Must be knowledgeable in electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, blue print reading (mechanical/electrical), knowledge of AC and Dc drive systems required.
Previous electrical experience with troubleshooting capabilities; Previous mechanical experience with troubleshooting capabilities; Knowledge of PLCs is required.
Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential. Flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as needed

In 1964 the plant was sold to Hot Spring County and from 1966-1971 the County leased plant to Curtis Mathes Company of AR where it was used to assemble televisions. From 1971-1975, the Plant was leased to International Technovation (Intech.), where it manufactured foam products (Egg Cartons/Trays). Then in 1975-1980, the Plant was leased to Western Foam Pak where it manufactured foam products. From 1980-1996, the plant operated under the name of Amoco Foam Products and was purchased by Western Foam Pak. The plant was purchased by Tenneco Packaging in 1996. Pactiv then seperated from Tenneco Packaging in 1999.
