Some flexibility is required for start and end times.JBS Live Pork Centralia is looking for a part time 1st shift Feed Mill Production Technician.This position is responsible for manufacturing and shipping of animal feed.Responsibilities include:
Handle all activities around short mix operation, including: weighing hand add ingredients, unloading bagged product, maintaining short mix area and warehouse, weekly bag product inventory, other duties as assigned by the feed mill manager as needed.
Manufacture feeds to ensure that they meet specifications and food safety requirements.
Schedule production based on priorities and customer demands.
Keep accurate, legible records.
Perform housekeeping tasks, maintain a clean workplace.
Any other tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
Must be able to read/comprehend English and authorized to work in the U.S.
Good math skills.
Good mechanical aptitude.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift 55 lbs.
Computer knowledge.
Preferred:
Prior experience in feed milling or industrial manufacturing work.
Ideal candidates should have above average skills in teamwork, decision making, taking responsibility, and integrity.
