Responsibilities:
Set up, layout, measure, and stencil according to work orders.
Control traffic in and around work zones.
Understand and review all equipment operation manuals.
Collaborate with the Superintendent for project assignments.
Load and unload 5-gallon buckets of paint from trailers.
Operate mechanical striping machines to apply paint.
Apply paint to pavement following manufacturer's specifications.
Assist in job site cleanup.
Conduct bi-weekly safety meetings and crew mini-huddles.
Participate in personal and field safety protection activities.
Navigate to and from work sites.
Assist in additional field work activities and maintain the physical condition of the warehouse.
Requirements:
Valid DL
Understand the preparation and installation of striping.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as measurements, weights, area, circumference, and volume.
