We are seeking a Vendor Sourcing Specialist or Vendor Manager to join our team. As a key contributor, you will:Learn all aspects of the company through working with multiple departments at various levels within the organization, and learn a variety of business skills and industry solutions by working with external vendors. Your role will involve collecting, organizing, and interpreting data to identify trends, patterns, and gaps in order to make informed decisions and recommendations. You will be responsible for effectively handling multiple projects with changing priorities, analyzing data to achieve favorable outcomes, and collaborating with vendors to reach a desirable solution while maintaining a positive working relationship.You will be involved in vendor communications, work prioritization, and work coordination for a specific set of SPP vendors. Moreover, you will provide valuable support to SPP Functional Managers and business owners in the creation, modification, and approval of contracts. This includes ensuring clear and measurable requirements and deliverables, as well as tracking vendor support contracts and work orders.If you are business-minded, possess strong problem-solving, detail-oriented, analytical, communication, and organizational skills, and have experience in vendor management or related roles, we invite you to apply and join our team.To be successful as the Vendor Sourcing Specialist or Vendor Manager, we're looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology-related field or equivalent experience

Vendor Manager: Three (3) years of applicable experience in Information Technology vendor management related roles

Vendor Sourcing Specialist: A minimum of 12-months in a business-related field or equivalent experience is required; however, prior vendor sourcing experience is preferred

Effective written and oral communication skills

Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization, including executive, business owners/knowledge experts, and IT technical experts

Successful experience solving problems that involve multiple organizations and people

Understanding of and compliance with SPP Policies and Procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

Two to three years specific vendor management experience is preferred

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time hybrid position. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Working extended hours may be required.

Travel Requirement:

This position requires minimal travel (approximately 15%).
