Systems Support Technician

Description We are on the search for a Systems Support Technician to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas. The Systems Technician will support the Systems Administrator and will be tasked with various responsibilities, including software support, IT related administrative tasks, hardware support, and data entry. Responsibilities: Manage support for all software systems, services, and users in the business. Handle product/software support for various logistics solutions like Omnitracs Roadnet, Trimble TMT, Transflo DMS, Geotab, and others. Oversee hardware and software support for mobile devices and manage MDM (SOTI). Conduct data entry to correct manual database records. Execute IT related administrative tasks such as inventory audits, creating documentation, etc. Aid with AS400 administrative tasks including user setup, user security and access settings, tape backups, etc. Assist in the testing and upgrading of software. Utilize Microsoft SQL and Python for various tasks. Apply basic troubleshooting skills when dealing with logistics systems.Requirements Bachelor’s degree in related field (Information Systems, Information Technology or similar field) or a minimum 3-5 year equivalent experience is required. Proficient in Microsoft SQL. (preferred) Demonstrable knowledge of Python programming language. (preferred) Capable of performing basic troubleshooting tasks effectively. Familiarity with logistics systems, preferably within the transport industry. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Proven track record of managing and maintaining systems and networks. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
