Manages daily operations of the Purchase department includes sourcing and procuring supplies, services, equipment and capital goods/equipment.

Knowledgeable of current products and strategizes on market trends that affect buying practices.

Oversees and conducts requests for proposals, supplier selection, and vendor negotiations includes maximizing utilization of group purchasing organization (GPO) contracts.

Evaluate and monitors the terms of the contracts to ensure it is executive timely and according to the contract.

Maintains purchasing records and files in accordance with organizational policies and procedures including recalls.

Consults and collaborate with customers and other departments in matters related to purchasing procedures, product sourcing and detail, contracts and related legal matters.

Talent Management from hiring, training, performance management, and manage employee’s cycle at Arkansas Children to align with organization goals and performance metrics.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
