Job Title: Maintenance SupervisorJob DescriptionAs a Maintenance Supervisor, you will work under the general supervision of the Maintenance Manager and directly supervise all hourly maintenance mechanics on the assigned shift. The role is responsible for the maintenance and adjustment of all equipment in the Processing Plant to maximize production and minimize downtime. You may perform some maintenance as needed and ensure the on-time production start-up of the assigned shift.Responsibilities
Supervise hourly mechanics and ensure they perform their duties efficiently.
Responsible for the maintenance and adjustment of all equipment in the Processing Plant to maximize production and minimize downtime.
Perform some maintenance tasks as needed.
Ensure on-time production start-up of the assigned shift.
Check machinery for proper performance and troubleshoot issues.
Assign maintenance employees to production line jobs when needed.
Issue work orders to all Maintenance Department personnel under your supervision.
Essential Skills
Experience with pneumatics, troubleshooting, gearboxes, motors, three-phase motors, switches, conveyor systems, and conveyor maintenance.
Ability to weld and perform electrical and PLC troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must have their own basic set of tools.
Electrical experience is a plus.
Experience in food manufacturing maintenance is a plus.
Experience with pumps and hydraulics is a plus.
