This position is governed by state and federal law and agency/institution policy.FunctionsInspects sites to verify compliance with plans, specifications, and state and federal regulations during all phases of construction and/or inspects existing facilities for fire and safety code compliance and proper equipment operation. Completes reports of findings and takes necessary action to correct deficiencies. Ability to design and draft construction plans and write specifications.Minimum QualificationsThe formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in chemical, electrical, civil, or mechanical engineering, or a related field. Licensure may be required if not working under the supervision of a licensed professional engineer.
