Description Are you a dedicated accountant looking to make a difference? Join Robert Half as we seek a skilled Accountant to join one of our esteemed clients, a well-established non-profit organization in Little Rock, AR. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while utilizing Microsoft Dynamics software and enjoying a hybrid work environment.Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions using Microsoft Dynamics software.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.

Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to maintain accuracy.

Assist with grant accounting and reporting as required by funding sources.

Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Collaborate with program managers and other departments to ensure financial compliance and transparency.

Participate in financial analysis to support decision-making processes.

Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations relevant to non-profit organizations.

Provide support for special projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics software or similar ERP systems.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with grant accounting is a plus.
