Hotel:Hot Springs Embassy Suites400 Convention BoulevardHot Springs, AR 71901Hotel F&B SupervisorFull timeAtrium SPIRIT – where teamwork, passion and appreciation ignite service excellencePrimary Purpose:The primary purpose of the Food & Beverage Supervisor is to provide guests with an excellent food and beverage experience while ensuring that all Associates meet brand standards and exceed guest expectations.Work Performed:The Food & Beverage Supervisor will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
Supervise and direct the prompt, efficient and friendly serving of all food and beverageassociates;
Conduct appropriatetraining,coaching and accountability of food and beverage associates when service, performance, or cleanliness standards are notmet;
Ensure all opening and closing side work is completed on a dailybasis;
Work quickly and independently to resolve operational and/or guest issues when necessary, ensuring proper follow through with appropriate manager(s);
Act as a liaison between kitchen and front of houseassociates;
AssistotherAssociatesin their job duties as necessary, including bartending, bussing, cooking andserving;
Assist with ordering supplies and equipmentwhile controllingcosts;
Responsible for scheduling Associates to ensure adequate coverage for business needs and that Associates are provided the opportunity to take all required meal and rest breaks;Adhere toHealth Department guidelines for food handling and sanitation so that guests and employees will not be in risk of cross-contamination, including keeping compartment sink, side boards, and refrigerators clean and sanitized;
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents,injuriesand unsafe work conditions to management;and
Any and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications:
At least sixmonths ofexperience inserveror related capacity
Prior supervisor/leadershipexperience
Prior customer service experience
Prior related hotel experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Food Safety Training certified or become certified within first 60 days of employment.
Alcohol Awareness certified or become certified within first 60 days of employment
Able to lift a minimum of 50lbsoccasionally and 20lbs regularly
Ableto bend and squat repeatedly
Able to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
Flexible to work day shifts, early mornings, evenings,nights,weekends and holidays
