ResponsibilitiesCommunication SkillsCommunication skills are critical to succeed in this role. Your writing and speaking skills directly contribute to the image of St Vincent Medical Center. You will draft and prepare correspondence such as announcements, reports, presentations, and the like. You are an active listener who speaks clearly and concisely. You enjoy interacting and communicating with visitors and employees at all levels in our hospital and medical center.Organization SkillsYou thrive in a fast-paced environment with many responsibilities. You efficiently manage time and workspace as you oversee the President’s calendar, meetings, activities, and business travel. Should two conflicting priorities arise, it will be up to you to balance the agenda to make sure key priorities are successful.Technical SkillsAs Executive Administrative Assistant, you must have familiarity with office equipment, from computers to photocopiers to fax machines as well as software word processing, desktop publishing, database management and spreadsheets. With constant changes in technology, it is essential for you to be comfortable adapting to new equipment and troubleshooting minor issues and glitches.Assessment SkillsYou can make sound decisions without supervision and exercise good judgment at all times by applying logical reasoning. All matters and materials in the Office are highly sensitive and confidential. A high degree of integrity is essential.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Two to three (2-3) years progressively responsible experience in an administrative role requiring broad range of secretarial experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree
