POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for making home visits, providing direct patient care, and completing related paperwork. Performs other duties as assigned.
This position has exposure to communicable disease, body fluids, and radiation. The RN assists in the orientation of new staff.
The majority of work time is spent sitting while driving or while doing paperwork (up to 60% of work time), frequent standing and / or walking short distances while involved with patient care (approximately 30% of work time), and frequent lifting and pulling of up to 50 lbs.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Proof of Liability Auto Insurance, AR RN License, Valid Driver's License, CPR
SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL AND SKILL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
A good working knowledge of nursing care practices as usually demonstrated by the completion of a RN program, AR licensure, and at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
Must be able to function independently and demonstrate good judgment in assessing patient needs in any situation.
