POSITION OVERVIEW:Responsible for interacting and influencing FedEx Freight and FedEx Services Pricing, Sales and Revenue Forecasting leadership on a variety of matters including overall LTL pricing strategy and development of implementation plans; routinely interact with senior leadership across the afore-named FedEx Freight and FedEx Services functions as well as collaborate closely with the Costing, Measurement Reporting & Analysis (MRA), Operations, and Financial Planning teams.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Select, train, develop and motivate a staff of employeesDevelop holistic reporting with FedEx Services to proactively identify upcoming contract reviews, decrease and monitor the number of past due contracts, and perform post implementation review of pricing actionsServe as primary FedEx Freight lead over the contractual renewal process for Enterprise, TI or Field accounts, ensuring renewals are completed timely and appropriately priced; work with Pricing, when appropriate, to develop strategy; coordinate and participate on calls with Pricing, Sales, Operations and Finance as needed; prepare updates for executive leadership as requiredDevelop education programs for FedEx Freight leadership and refine the current revenue forecasting processDevelop presentations for Revenue Management Committee, Board of Directors and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) meetings as they relate to various revenue quality and pricing initiativesDevelop pricing education tools and review with FedEx Freight and FedEx Services leadership; actively participate in cross OpCo collaboration initiativesCollaborate with the FedEx Freight costing team to ensure that “ad-hoc” costs identified during contract renewals are reflected in the costing system; provide input on potential enhancements to costing methodology as neededCollaborate with FedEx Services and the FedEx Freight MRA team to prepare weekly revenue forecasts; enhance the current process through more granular forecasting (selected customer detail, contract vs tariff, geographical, etc.)Continuously improve and collaborate to develop new capabilities around key revenue quality performance metricsComply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/proceduresPerform other duties as requiredDisclaimer: This job description is general in nature and is not designed to contain or to be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications required of employees assigned to the job.QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus five (5) years’ experience in pricing and related analysis, business consulting, project management, and/or operations analysis/management

Extensive pricing experience preferred and related analytic skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities, perform at both a strategic and functional level and meet tight deadlines

Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

Experience in LTL transportation and pricing preferred

Proven leadership ability; comfortable working with all levels within the company

Proven record of working jointly with others to produce results

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and/or financial support systems

Strong communications skills to include presentation abilities
