There are a variety of roles and responsibilities within this title. The types of roles available are making routine checks at the barns to gather eggs, wash, disinfect, count and tray the eggs, clean and disinfect poultry houses, catch and handle birds to be artificially inseminated, verifying quality and accuracy of products, all while making safety the number one priority.While performing the duties of Farm Labor, the employee is regularly exposed to live birds in a hot to cold indoor/outdoor environment. Positions require standing the entire shift and the use of PPE is required in all areas of the facility. All employees working in the farms must follow all BioSecurity measures, including, but not limited to showering in/out and wearing company-issued uniforms, cannot have pet birds, come in contact with anyone owning poultry, sheep and/or hogs, anyone working in another poultry farm or another poultry processing facility. All employees in the farms must abide by all Animal Welfare policies at all times.Principal Accountabilities
Perform repetitive tasks. Examples include:
Lift/handle live birds
Gathering eggs and complete sanitation and inventory
Maintaining proper feed and water lines
Ensuring product safety and quality
Cleanliness and housekeeping

Meat processing experience
Poultry farm experience
Other farming experience
Production experience
Work history in the last 12 months
