Type of Requisition: RegularClearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: NonePublic Trust/Other Required: NoneJob Family: Business Process AnalysisJoin General Dynamics IT and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world’s most complex technical challenges.We are seeking an Associate Cloud Consultant to support a Navy Military Sealift Command (MSC) project that is a multi-year cloud modernization effort to bring the Navy NOC in Pensacola, FL, into the cloud.The Navy’s Military Sealift Command (MSC) is an organization that controls the replenishment and military transport ships of the United States Navy. Military Sealift Command has the responsibility for providing sealift and ocean transportation for all US military services as well as for other government agencies.These will be remote positions with 50% travel required. We anticipate a start date by 10/1.Typical duties for you include:Providing business strategy, solution development and technical guidance to develop business and market solutions that align with cloud service offerings from the cloud service provider.
Analyzing customer requirements and provides technical expertise on cloud cluster computing techniques and technologies of low to medium complexity.
Assisting customers with data integration and migration efforts, including mapping schemas and defining domain specific ontologies
Designing, developing, engineering, and implementing solutions to computer security requirements.
Performing risk analyses which also includes risk assessment
May assist with the development of data technologies, algorithms, and applications.
Maintaining current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Providing guidance to less-experienced cloud development personnel.
Providing technical expertise in designing, architecting, deploying, and maintaining cloud solutions.
Basic Qualifications:BS degree: additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
2+ years IT experience of which 5 years must be in the Cloud environment: solution development and application, software architecture and cloud solutions
Desired: Azure, AWS, VCP, CCNA, CISSP certification
