Overview:
RAM EXPRESS TRANSPORT is seeking a reliable and experienced 1099 driver with a DOT certificate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving an average of 500 miles per day, adhering to safety standards, and ensuring timely deliveries. This position offers a flexible schedule with 3 weeks on and 1 week off.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive an average of 500 miles daily, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods.
Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
Maintain accurate logs of working hours, miles driven, and other relevant data.
Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly.
Requirements:
Valid DOT certificate.
Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a similar role.
Ability to drive long distances while maintaining focus and safety.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and handle unforeseen situations professionally.
Work Schedule:
3 weeks on, 1 week off.
Compensation:
Competitive pay Starting out $0.40 a mile
