Asphalt Paving Foreman, your responsibilities include:
1. Leadership & Supervision: Lead & work alongside a crew of asphalt paving professionals. Actively participate in all paving activities, including equipment operation, material handling, & quality control.
2. Project Planning & Execution: Collaborate with project managers to understand the scope of the project. Determine necessary supplies & staff. Map out the timeline for the asphalt segment of the project. Deploy crews & supervise them during paving, patching, & resurfacing tasks.
3. Technical Expertise: Possess at least 10 years of experience as a paving foreman. Understand asphalt paving techniques & materials. Perform asphalt paving, stone setup, & milling operations in accordance with industry standards.
4. Safety & Quality Control: Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with safety policies. Maintain quality standards throughout the paving process.
5. Additional Duties: Depending on the specific job, additional duties may include directing traffic, coordinating with other crew members, and cleaning the work area at the end of the day.
