As a skilled UX designer — with clients, project managers, designers, engineers, and more — you will advocate for the user’s wants, needs, and what they expect from the products we create. You are innovative, quick-thinking, and eager to learn more about what’s happening in the interactive space. Your UX design skills are top-notch, and you have a knack for making the complex clear.
What You’ll Do
Act as a lead UX designer on projects
Bring user-centered design (UCD) process methods to digital solutions from concept to launch
Work with clients to understand and distill complex problems into elegant, informed solutions
Identify and execute on the best methods for user research and testing within client constraints
Design and deliver information architecture, wireframes, user personas and journeys, and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
Provide constructive direction to junior designers
Integrate with other senior cross-functional teammates (Visual Design, Development, Engagement Managers, and Project Managers) to produce best-in-industry solutions for projects
Present creative work and articulate the team’s design process directly to the client
Participate and facilitate creative workshops for team members
A clear passion and enthusiasm for learning and pursuing your expertise
You bring
5+ years of experience in UX or interaction design with heavy emphasis on solid human-centered design methods
2+ years of mentoring and guiding junior UX designers
An inspiring portfolio showing us how you have researched and crafted great experiences, seeing them through to released products
Experience with
Planning for and delivering experience design projects
Reviewing existing systems and processes to identify UX issues and develop UX recommendations
UX research, including planning, designing and facilitating user sessions and client workshops, analyzing findings and articulating results
Information architecture, user and screen flows, conceptual and detailed wireframing and prototyping
Working in a wide variety of modern design tools like Sketch, Axure, Principle, Framer, InVision and the Adobe Creative Suite
Ability to
Approach design challenges with and open mind
Organize, self-direct, and prioritize to get things done
Articulate and champion your design solutions based on human-centered design principles and research data
Work independently and in groups as needed
Experiment with emerging technology, design trends, tools and methods
A passion for learning and pursuing your craft and guiding others
Strong written and verbal communication skills
