Southern Electrical Contractors is seeking a Journeyman electrician to help lead projects and apprentices, also accepting applications of all skill levels as we are a growing company. Our customers are industrial and commercial. Our projects include maintenance support, plant projects, and turn-key projects. All work is in town. Full time position with weekend overtime.
Responsibilities:
Install and troubleshoot electrical systems
Install and troubleshoot controls
Install conduit, raceway, and cable tray
Teach and lead apprentices
Understand and build to scope of work to complete projects
Understand and build with plans, blueprints, and wire schematics
Comply to OSHA, customer, and company safety standards
Qualifications:
Strong work ethic
Knowledge of the electrical trade
Understand how to use common trade tools in the field
Knowledge with plans, blueprints, and wire schematics
Quick thinking and problem-solving skills
Arkansas Journeyman’s license
