CNC Operator - 1st Shift

Under minimal supervision, sets up and operates CNC (computer numerical controlled) machinery to fabricate equipment parts.Shift: 1st Shift 5am - 3:30pm  (4 Days per week)Salary range: $60,000 - 70,000 depending on experienceEssential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Set-up and operate CNC Lathe and CNC Vertical Machining CenterUse machine tools, meters and machine manuals to diagnose problems.Manufacture of precision parts with multiple quantities and with multiple profiles (radiuses and angles with different tangent points).Use hand tools, power tools, welding and fabricating techniques.Use and read precision measuring instruments.Able to read and understand blueprints.Provide support to department for plant improvement or facility projects, as needed.Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery.Must be available to work overtime days/hours as needed for emergency repairs.Assist in other areas of the shop as needed. Must be able to work proficiently with minimal supervision.Other duties as assigned by management.  Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.Compliance with applicable Company policies concerning maintaining a drug free workplace is required.Compliance with all Company policies including all safety policies and procedures is required.
