DescriptionAs a Behavioral Health Associate within the nation’s top behavioral healthcare network, you will play an indispensable role within our organization. As a Behavioral Health Associate, you’ll be at the front line caring for our patients while setting the standard for safety and comfort within the facility.Our facility makes an impression in the lives of individuals and families in need. As a Behavioral Health Associate, you’ll work directly with patients and monitor their physical and emotional condition on a regular basis. You’ll correspond with our nursing staff to report patient progress to ensure that patients are meeting their treatment goals.As a Behavioral Health Associate, you’ll assist with educational and rehab groups that allow our patients to work on various behavioral skills that will help them reacclimate into their daily lives. As an influential caretaker who leads patients through activities, you will progressively track a patient’s treatment goals on their way to recovery.The role of a Behavioral Health Associate is vital in our organization’s ability to fulfill our mission of providing individualized, quality care that allows our patients to regain hope.If you are an experienced professional and consider yourself a nurturing, caring team player who is passionate about the behavioral healthcare industry, you may be the perfect person for this position.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalent required. a minimum SLPI (or equivalent language assessment tool) score of “Intermediate+”, is required. Prefer one year of experience working with the specific population of the facility. “Minimum experience required is at least one year of working directly with Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing individuals with Behavioral/Mental Health issues.” LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
