We are seeking interns for summer 2025 to support our Manufacturing and Process team. This position will be located in our Camden, Arkansas facility. Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each):
70% - Support manufacturing engineering in the troubleshooting of complex operations involved in the manufacture of insulation components, insulated rocket motor cases, composite rocket motor components, and rocket motor assembly operation.
30% - Originate, prepare, and maintain detailed planning (Standard Operating Procedures) for the manufacture of rocket warhead components. Perform hands-on pilot operations for manufacture of new inert or energetic components, and development program components and assemblies. Accurately report problems, solutions, and results in concise written and oral communications.
Requirements:
Candidate must be currently enrolled in a B.S. or M.S. degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other related major and have completed their sophomore year of study, and be returning to school upon completion of the assignment.
Requires U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residency or other status as a U.S. Person. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Working knowledge of all Microsoft Software applications.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Self-starter and have the ability to work with little direction.
Solid academic track record of accomplishment.
Leadership skills.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
