Primary Responsibilities:Daily operations of the lab, incoming sample processing, maintaining calibration of equipmentEnsuring health and safety processes and procedures are followed, maintenance of a safe, ergonomically sound, professional work environment.Responsible for on time delivery of test reports free of errors and meet customer expectations. delivery of jobsImplement efficiency improvement, process improvement, and 5 S processesProfile of the position (Responsibilities):Responsible for daily testing of the laboratoryOversee safety, ergonomics, maintenance, and cleanliness of department (including upgrades, repairs, etc.)Oversee implementation of SOPs for incoming sample processing in accordance with company policyOversee/Ensure all processed documentation is complete and reviewed as requiredEnsure sample workflow from logistics meets the needs of the departmentMonitor special handling of identified clientsMust be able to establish a positive work environment that actively encourages and supports employee involvementTrack/enter time/attendance of employeesPrepare month-end reportsInvestigates/resolves and responds to client complaintsResponsible to ensure company policies are followedEffectively work with internal departments to resolve problems. Must have interpersonal skills to gain cooperation with other departments, and foster continuous improvementsStrong written and spoken English skills, other languages will be an advantagePersuasive, diplomatic, but always to the point and a strong ability to sell a conceptHands-on, open-minded, proactive team player
