Experienced CNC Machine Operator

Job Description:
A leading aerospace/defense machine shop and metal fabrication company in Yuma, AZ is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our team.
Basic Requirements:
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen due to aerospace/defense work and security requirements.
Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience operating CNC machines.
Skills:
Ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures.
Support and adhere to aerospace level quality control standards.
Perform setups on CNC lathes and mills, including tool changes and fixture preparation.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Operate CNC lathes and mills to produce precision parts within tight tolerances.
Utilize inspection gauges and devices (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMM) to verify part quality.
Maintain a clean, FOD-free (Foreign Object Debris) work area per NAS412 standards.
Adhere to safety protocols, including PPE and machine guarding.
Additional Expectations:
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet production deadlines.
Basic computer skills for programming adjustments or logging (e.g., G-code edits).
Willingness to undergo training on aerospace/defense-specific processes.
