We are seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to manage and maintain and optimize our farm's irrigation systems. As our Irrigation Technician, you will oversee the full lifecycle of our farm's water management. You will be responsible for ensuring our crops receive the precise amount of water needed to thrive, optimizing water use, and maximizing crop production. System management: operate, maintain, and repair our existing agricultural irrigation systems, sprinklers etc. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve system issues, including leaks, and mechanical failures. Installation: Assist in the installation of new irrigation equipment and replacement of older components. Programing: Adjust and program irrigation controllers based on seasonal changes and crop needs. Equipment operation: Safely operate farm equipment such as tractors and trenching machines. You will need years of experience as an irrigation technician preferably in a farm or agricultural setting. Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, water management and pump systems. Capable to work independently Valid drivers license ability to work out doors. Preferred certifications in Irrigation. Bilingual in English/Spanish. Pick up application at 4464 E 30th pl.
